The Nightmare is over, our Deck is completed. Wish we had photos of me after we had completed it. Being covered in oil-based paint is not the same as being covered in water-based paint.

The BMV (Bureau of Motor Vehicles) is a squisher of dreams. As I entered the BMV in Medina, a young high schooler came bouncing out in joy, running and screaming to her car in excitement for her paperwork. 10 minutes later I was standing behind her in line as the man behind the counter callously and maliciously told her that she could not get her license because of paperwork problems. She was crushed. When you enter the doors of the BMV, leave grace behind at the door, there is no space there for compassion.

I've never once entered the BMV and gotten what I wanted first time. There are always problems. Once, after having my wallet stolen, I strolled into the BMV with all of my paperwork (including my passport), I had every earthly piece of information, and was still sent away. To add insult to injury, I could see a copy of my license, with my very own smiling face, sitting on the computer screen of the compassionless BMV worker as they turned me away.

I always have the feeling that you are treated as if you were attempting to trick the system.

Anyhoo, there is a spiritual application to this. If you've caught the spirit of Revolution, you'll be under attack from Satan. His favorite tactic is to find somebody to crush you callously. To stomp on your efforts, to be graceless and uncompassionate. You're probably feeling like the high school girl who came running out of the BMV in complete and exstatic excitement. Well, satan is waiting for you to crush your spirit. The last thing he wants is a Revolution. Don't let him crush you. When it comes, love the person who is crushing you, and be content that Satan is attacking. If he isn't attacking you, you are not dangerous to him.

Remember what Booth said "I'll fight till the end."

This is just a general note to anyone who was at Youth Councils. I've read all your blogs, if you have a site meter, you will have seen me on there.

Firstly, I am really encouraged by your responses and thoughts. I can really feel a Revolution beginning in the hearts of those who attended. Remember what Capt. Rock prayed for, we closed our eyes and imagined ourselves in a circle. Revolution begins there. If there is a Revolution in your life, then others will see the change and want the Revolution for themselves.

Secondly, stay close to him. Let the weekend be a beginning, not an end to the Revolution. The weekend wasn't transforming because of the worship team, speakers, band, skits, technology or One Time Blind, it was transforming because people were on their knees praying for a Revolution and a movement of the Holy Spirit. That will always continue and it's up to us to continue to be on our knees before God.

I really feel a Revolution happening in the life of our Division. God already started it before we even began planning this weekend. He was already doing the work in the Corps, and he will continue to work. Now we are more aware of His movement, it's up to us to continue the work in His power and His name.

I apologise for not commenting on your blogs. I was just too excited to read the next one.

God is moving!
